Abracadabra!

The library really is a magical place! Classes enjoyed a magic show as they were welcomed back to the library this year. Thanks Mrs. Grenda for sharing your tricks and reading tips with all of our dolphins!

Under Construction

5th graders were hard at work! They worked to construct strong personal narratives by editing and revising their work. During their "lunch break," they even experienced a Book Tasting. Thanks Ms. Adewale for making learning so much fun!

Growing in Kindergarten

Our kindergarten students are about to learn about plants and produce grown in their CKLA unit in ELA. They started their own garden to put their learning into action! Thank you to Charleston Lowe's for donating all the soil for our 4 raised garden beds. We are so grateful to our gardening club volunteers for teaching us how to plant!

Stono park is a wonderful school! The teachers and staff are dedicated professionals that care deeply about students in the school. It offers a balanced curriculum, which has a well -placed emphasis on reading and mathematics and at the same time includes art, music, computer and physical education. My grandson started going to Stono Park in CD and is currently in the 5th grade; he loves the school and the teachers, and as a grandparent I am extremely satisfied with his progress and intervention he receives to excel.

"This was our daughter's 1st year of school and is in CD. It's only halfway through the year and we can not believe how much she has learned!...She has gained so much confidence this year and loves going to school everyday...She even tells us she wants to be a teacher when she grows up...It's unbelievable what a positive impact CD has had on her. Thank you, thank you, Stono Park Elementary!!"
